Good news for the Mets, Alex Cora is being investigated, Farhan Zaidi is a dead man walking, the MLBPA sues gambling companies, and we talk space cancer, destination fees, KISS, and The Smiths
Good morning!
The Mets got some good news on Francisco Lindor’s back and had a good night at the ballpark last night as well, MLB is investigating Alex Cora’s comments about throwing at Aaron Judge, Farhan Zaidi sounds like a dead man walking, the White Sox plan to cut payroll, Matt Adams is retiring, and the MLBPA is suing four gambling companies.
In Other Stuff we talk about space cancer, I complain about hotel destination fees, and we have an item about both Gene Simmons of KISS and Morrissey and, hoo boy, that’s a combination no one needs in their life. But I am here to serve you, and sometimes I serve you what you need rather than what you want.
Also, by way of housekeeping, I turned off that audio newsletter option that appeared yesterday because it apparently can only handle like 1,000 words before it reaches its limit and I can’t clear my throat in the space of a thousand words, so it’s not worth messing with.
